Terms and conditions for advisers indicating their participation in the T2H Program

You have indicated to us that you would like to participate in our Transition to Hybrid program.

By clicking on the button below, you agree to the following terms and conditions.  References to “we”, “our” and “us” in these terms and conditions are references to AIA Australia Limited.

1. We may pay additional commission to your dealer group in accordance with the rules that govern the “Transition to Hybrid” program (T2H Program) that we have agreed with your dealer group. Copies of these rules are available here.

2. If we accept your application, we will notify a commencement date for your participation in the T2H Program.  If this is the first time that you are applying to participate, the date we will notify will be your “Commencement Date” for the purposes of the program rules.  Please note that if you stop being a program participant and later apply to participate again, your Commencement Date will remain as the date we originally notified after the first time you applied to participate in the T2H Program.

3. You must keep all information about the T2H Program (including documents that set out the T2H Program rules and these terms and conditions) confidential and you may not disclose this information to third parties without our consent except to the extent required by law.

4. Any commission payments arising out of your participation in the T2H Program will be paid to your dealer group.  It is the dealer group’s responsibility (and not our responsibility) to determine how these commission payments are allocated to individuals.

5. It is your and your dealer group’s responsibility to ensure that any commission payments, including payments received as a result of your participation in the T2H Program are disclosed in accordance with the relevant law.

6. Your personal information (for example your personal details and financial information relating to your dealings with us) will be handled by us for the purposes of administering the T2H Program and similar programs in accordance with our privacy policy available here.  You agree that we may update our privacy policy at any time by posting an updated version on our website and you agree to these updates.  In addition to any rights that arise out of our privacy policy, you agree that we may share information (including your personal information) that is in any way connected with your dealings with us, your application for or participation in the T2H Program with third parties (including with your dealer groups, our external service providers, regulators and government agencies) for the purposes of administering the T2H Program and similar programs.

7. Please note that the terms of your participation in the T2H Program and the program rules may be varied from time to time and we may withdraw them or the T2H Program at our discretion.
